Dauphin RCMP broke up a drug trafficking transaction earlier this week, and arrested one man.

On Tuesday, officers spotted three known suspects on bicycles, and when they approached, the suspects fled.

After a brief chase, Mounties apprehended a 21-year-old man from Saskatoon, who was found in possession of a sawed-off shotgun, a handgun, bear spray and break-in instruments.

Collin Pruden faces multiple charges including Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and he was remanded in custody, while officers continue searching for a 24-year-old male and a 30-year-old male, both from Dauphin.
