Federal health officials say COVID-19 case counts continue to decline, with chief medical health officer Dr. Theresa Tam noting many parts of the country are at or past the peak of the current wave. As for the monkeypox outbreak, Dr. Tam says there are 1,163 confirmed cases, although the rate of infection has started to slow.
