Another court appearance for a man charged with the alleged abduction of his seven-year-old daughter. 52-year-old Michael Gordon Jackson, of the Carievale district, has been committed to stand trial by jury in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench, with the trial expected to take two weeks. He remains in custody, to make another pretrial appearance on September 16th. Saskatchewan RCMP issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Jackson on January 21st, after he was charged with Abduction in Contravention of Custody or Parenting Order, and police located him and his daughter in Vernon B.C., on February 24th.
