One person is dead, following a house fire in Ethelbert.

Dauphin RCMP and firefighters responded to the scene, at a home in Ethelbert, shortly before 4:30 yesterday (MON) afternoon.

After the blaze was put out, firefighters were able to enter the structure, where they found a woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s name has not been released, and the incident remains under investigation.
