A Redvers man found guilty of assaulting two women has learned his fate in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench today (Tues).
In June, 29-year-old Travis Patron was convicted on two counts of assault causing bodily harm, related to a November 2019 incident at a Regina condo, in which one of the women suffered a broken wrist.
Patron was sentenced to an 18-month concurrent sentence on each count, but will only serve a one-day concurrent sentence after he was given credit for 585 days in remand, in addition to providing a DNA sample and handed a 10-year firearm ban.
Patron will remain in custody for trial in Estevan next month, for Wilfully Promoting Hate to an Identifiable Group, on charges related to the publication of an anti-Semitic video on YouTube, in June of 2019.
