A former Yorkton gynecologist sentenced to prison time for sexually assaulting four patients, has yet to serve a day behind bars. 78-year-old Mohammed Haque was given 2-and-a-half years in prison, four years ago today, but he remains free on bail while his case awaits a decision from the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal. The judge also ordered that he provide a D-N-A sample, abide by a 10-year firearm prohibition, and be placed on the National Sex Offender Registry for the rest of his life. Haque was originally accused of assaulting 16 women, following an RCMP investigation that started in 2001.
