A Sandy Bay First Nation man wanted on a Canada wide arrest warrant was taken into custody over the weekend.
On Saturday, Ste Rose RCMP responded to a home on the Ebb and Flow First Nation, where a stolen vehicle was found.
Upon officers arrival, a male barricaded himself inside the home and it was determined that a female and two children were in the residence.
After several hours of negotiation, the male was safely taken into custody.
39-year-old Lewis Starr was remanded in custody, and he will face further charges related to the incident.
