An accident near Bredenbury has claimed a life.

Esterhazy RCMP and the Churchbridge Fire Department responded to a two vehicle collision on Highway 16 at the west entrance of Bredenbury on Monday.

One of the passengers, a 94-year-old Yorkton woman, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the two drivers were transported to hospital with minor injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing.
