An Arrest Warrant For A Sword Wielding Man

A Wuskwi Sipihk First Nation man accused of carrying a concealed weapon in Swan River, is now the subject of an arrest warrant. 44-year-old John Campeau failed to appear in Swan River Court yesterday. In July of last year, Mounties received a report of a suspicious male, and they located him near 11th Avenue South with a large sword under his coat. A foot pursuit took place, and when making the arrest, one of the officers suffered a broken bone.
