RCMP Major Crime Services are asking the public for their help in the investigation into an unsolved death. Today would have been Kendara Ballantyne’s 22nd birthday. She had been reported missing on July 26, 2019, and just shy of two weeks later, on August 6th, 2019, her remains were discovered near the University College of the North, in The Pas. Investigators have now determined that her death was a homicide, and they ask anyone with knowledge of Kendara’s activities and whereabouts at the end of June 2019, or any other tips related to the case, to call the RCMP Tip Line, at 431-489-8106.
