The Pas RCMP seized drugs and a pellet gun at an OCN home as part of an ongoing investigation.
On September 27th, RCMP along with the Manitoba First Nations Police Service executed a search warrant a home on Cowley Avenue, where they seized 225 grams of cocaine and the gun.
Five people were initially arrested at the scene but three of them were released without charges.
28-year-old Beatrice Mclaughlin, of Opaskwayak Cree Nation, is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and is scheduled to appear in court on December 13.
52-year-old Leo McGinnis, also of OCN, is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and several firearm offences, and was remanded into custody.
