The Manitoba RCMP West District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) made arrests in two separate investigations.
On September 24th, they pulled over a vehicle in the R.M. of Elton but the male occupant of the vehicle attempted to flee on foot, but was quickly apprehended.
Police determined the suspect, 30-year-old Darcy Morris, of Grand Marais, was the subject of 5 arrest warrants, was allegedly in possession of meth and fake U.S. currency, and is facing numerous charges.
Then on September 28th, the unit recovered two stolen vehicles and a stolen trailer on the Crane River First Nation.
Yesterday (Tues), 29-year-old Devin Mckay, of the Crane River First Nation, was charged with 3 counts of Possession of Property by Crime and was remanded into custody.
