Two RCMP officers from The Pas were involved in a collision, but only received minor injuries.
Yesterday (Tues), around 2:45 p.m. MB time, the officers in a marked police vehicle were traveling east on First Street West, responding to a call with their emergency lights and sirens activated.
As they were passing another eastbound vehicle, it suddenly made a left hand turn and collided into the passenger side of the cruiser.
The officers received their injuries from the airbag and were treated and released from hospital, while the other driver, a 64-year-old Moose Lake man, was not hurt. The investigation into this is ongoing.
