Another court appearance has been made by a Muscowpetung First Nation man facing charges stemming from a pair of hit-and-run incidents in Regina. On December 22nd of last year, police were dispatched to a report of a hit-and-run involving a truck on Lorne Street, then a minute later, a second collision was reported at a parking lot of a business on Albert Street and 4th Avenue North. Police determined the same vehicle was involved in both incidents; a passenger in the SUV involved in the second collision suffered non-life threatening injuries, while the suspect, who was arrested, suffered a lower-body injury. 33-year-old Jonas Bellegarde is charged with Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm and Failure to Stop after an accident, and he will be back in Regina Court on October 26th.
