A Kawacatoose First Nation has been charged after an incident on the reserve last week.
On October 3rd, Punnichy RCMP responded to a report of a robbery on the Kandahar Grid, where the victim was threatened by an individual with a knife, and had his truck stolen.
About an hour later, the male was arrested by the Southey RCMP, where he initially provided a fake name.
30-year-old Dakota Asapace is charged with Robbery, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Assault with a Weapon and Obstructing a Peace Officer, and he will appear in Regina Provincial Court on November 1st.
