The Yorkton Terriers surrendered 5 third period goals en route to a 7-5 home loss to the Nipawin Hawks.
Maddux Nollski and Dylan Ruptash each had 2 goals for the Terriers’ while Greg Nelson also scored.
Maguire Ratzlaff scored his league-leading 9th, 10th and 11th goals of the season to pace the Hawks offensively, while Joel Mabin, Jake Smith, Alex Ochitwa, and Carson Dobson had singles.
Nolan McDowell made 18 saves to earn the win for Nipawin in goal, while Caleb Allen made 36 saves in the loss.
The Terriers’ go right back at it on Wednesday hosting the La Ronge Ice Wolves at the Westland Arena
Meanwhile, the Melville Millionaires’ point streak ended at 3 after a 7-2 loss to the Flin Flon Bombers.
Alexi Sylvestre (1G 3A) and Jaeden Mercier (2G 1A) led the offense for the Bombers, while Zach Cain and Tucker Buhay scored for the Moneymen.
