A jury’s decision has been made in the case of a Piapot First Nation woman charged in relation to a fatal collision on the reserve.
Southey RCMP were called to a home in August of 2019, where a woman acknowledged that she had hit the victim with her vehicle, in the driveway.
The deceased has been identified as 33-year-old Nolan Sugar, who was pronounced dead, at a Regina hospital.
45-year-old Leah Pratt was found guilty of three charges in Regina Court of King’s Bench, and her matters were adjourned for November 4th, where a sentencing date will be set.
