More Ukrainian Refugees To Arrive In Regina Tonight

About 200 more Ukrainians are set to land in Regina this evening, marking the third of five humanitarian flights to arrive in Saskatchewan. The province says a settler reception centre will be available and there will be on-site personnel to issue health cards, assist with setting up bank accounts and give information about housing, employment and other things. Immigration Minister Jeremy Harrison says It’s expected the Ukrainians will settle across the province. He says the government is proud to offer a sense of safety and security, something the Ukrainians arriving have been missing for some time.
