Centra Gas customers in Manitoba will have to dig a bit deeper into their jeans to heat their homes this season. The Public Utility Board has thumbs-upped a rate hike request which will add an average $100 per year, effective November 1st. The increase is on the commodity portion of the bill, but customers who have signed fixed term contracts are not affected. The Board will review the commodity rate again February 1st
