A Roblin man arrested on weapon charges, has entered a guilty plea. 34-year-old Dylan Bodnariuk was facing charges from an October 2016 traffic stop, in which Mounties pulled over a vehicle on Highway 10, just outside of Fort Qu’Appelle, and discovered a loaded handgun, a shotgun, cocaine, and a large amount of cash. In April of 2019, Bodnariuk was ordered to be tried on two counts of Unsafe Storage of a Firearm, in Regina Court of King’s Bench, and yesterday he pled guilty to one count of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon in a Motor Vehicle, with the remaining charges stayed by the Crown. He was given a 12-month conditional sentence order, and a ten-year firearm prohibition.
