A former Yorkton gynecologist convicted of sexually assaulting four patients, has had his appeal dismissed.
78-year-old Mohammed Haque was sentenced to 2-and-a-half years in prison over four years ago, but he remained free on bail, while his case awaited the decision from the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal.
He has to surrender to authorities by next Monday, to begin serving his sentence.
The judge also ordered that Haque provide a D-N-A sample, abide by a 10-year firearm prohibition, and be placed on the National Sex Offender Registry for the rest of his life.
