Kamsack RCMP recovered over 5-thousand dollars worth of stolen property, and charged two men in connection to a break-and-enter and theft of a Kamsack business on Monday (Oct. 31).
The report was made to the RCMP Monday, then the following day, RCMP attended a residence on the Keeseekoose First Nation, arrested an adult male, and recovered the stolen goods.
26-year-old Sterling Quewezance, of the Keeseekoose First Nation, faces charges of one count each of Break and Enter, Theft over $5000, Mischief over $5000, Theft of Motor Vehicle, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Trafficking in Property Obtained by Crime, and 3 counts of Breach of Probation. He made his first court appearance in Kamsack today (Wed) and was remanded into custody until his next court date next Tuesday (Nov. 8).
RCMP are trying to locate 38-year-old Aaron Quewezance (pictured), also of the Keeseekoose First Nation, who is described as 5-foot 3, 121 pounds with brown eyes and short black hair. He is facing charges of one count each of Break and Enter, Theft over $5000, Mischief over $5000, Theft of Motor Vehicle, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Trafficking in Property Obtained by Crime.
Mounties note he may be driving a dark grey mini van with an unknown Saskatchewan license plate, and anyone with tips on his whereabouts can contact Crime Stoppers or Kamsack RCMP.
