A Yorkton businessman received an award at the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce ABEX awards gala in Saskatoon on Saturday (Nov. 5).
Evan Ortynsky accepted the Roger Phillips Chamber Builder Award for his dedication to Saskatchewan’s chamber network.
“I’m very, very honoured by this recognition,” Ortynsky said in his acceptance speech. “I have to first say thank you to my family. My family has always been so very, very supportive.
“Secondly the Key Auto Group team, every one of them.
“I’ve always been so proud and thankful to call Saskatchewan home. It is a place that is blessed and built for success.”
He is the principal owner of Key Auto Group in Yorkton, and has served as director and/or chair of a variety of local and provincial organizations, including the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce and the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce.
