A Piapot First Nation woman, convicted on charges laid following a fatal vehicle/pedestrian collision, in August of 2019, will learn her fate next spring.
Last month, 45-year-old Leah Pratt was found guilty of three charges, and she appeared in Regina Court of King’s Bench on Friday (4th), where sentencing was set for May 24th of next year.
Southey RCMP were called to the scene of the incident in August of 2019, where a woman confirmed she had struck the victim with her vehicle, on a driveway at a home on the reserve.
33-year-old Nolan Sugar was pronounced dead at a Regina hospital.
