Virden RCMP responded to a fatal two-vehicle collision on Provincial Road 257, near the community of Kola, Manitoba late Saturday afternoon.
RCMP determined a westbound SUV crossed the centre line and collided head-on with an eastbound semi-trailer.
The driver of the SUV, a 35-year-old Virden woman, was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the driver of the semi, a 74-year-old Brandon man, was not injured.
RCMP continue to investigate.
