SaskTel is spending $100 million to expand their fibre optic InfiNet service to 80 communities. The work will be done in 6 phases, and is already nearing completion in Balgonie and Langham, and is underway in Canora, Esterhazy and Indian Head. When fully completed in 2023-24, the provincial phone company will have spent $200 million to bring infiNET service to over 110,000 residents and businesses living and operating in more than 130 rural communities.
