Cornerstone Credit Union announced it will award a total of $75-thousand through its annual community investment program.
The window for applying started in the spring and closed at the end of September and a selection committee reviewed more than 70 applications.
The funding is intended to build, expand, and upgrade facilities or develop programs that would improve quality of life in local communities.
Originally the Project Cornerstone Fund was $50-thousand, but because of a strong financial year, Cornerstone invested an additional $25-thousand.
The winners will be announced on December 1.
