Another court appearance for a Swan River man, arrested on May 6th in Winnipeg. Officers found about 27 grams of crystal meth in the suspect’s possession, along with a weapon and drug-related paraphernalia, and a subsequent search of a hotel room located several loaded handguns. 31-year-old Matthew Barker also faces charges in Hudson Bay. Barker remains in custody, and will appear in Swan River Court again on December 21st.
