A new court date has been set for a San Clara man, accused of hitting a Mountie with his vehicle. 31-year-old Matthew Paul will return to Roblin on December 15th. On July 16th, an RCMP officer conducted a traffic stop at a campground on Highway 83 in Roblin, in which he told the driver that the vehicle would be towed, because it wasn’t registered. The suspect then allegedly got into the vehicle, reversed at a high rate of speed, and struck the officer, before leaving the scene.
