The federal carbon tax will be lifted on all large emitters in Saskatchewan starting next year. The change is coming as the provincial government will now be responsibly regulating industry emitters. All industrial carbon taxes will now stay in Saskatchewan, saving the Saskatchewan industry an estimated $3.7 billion in federal carbon taxes between now and 2030 compared to federal carbon pricing.
