The Sask. Government Hands Out Gaming Grants

The Saskatchewan government has handed out $1.5 million in charitable gaming grants in the latest quarter of the fiscal year. Yorkton groups are sharing $24 thousand, $47 hundred is going to Melville, $$35 hundred to Preeceville, $31 hundred in Esterhazy and $12 hundred in Canora. Grants are based on a percentage of net proceeds raised through licensed charitable gaming activities such as bingos, raffles, Texas Hold’em poker and Monte Carlo events.
