Last night (Sun) Rose Valley RCMP responded to a fatal motor vehicle accident north of the town.

The incident happened on Highway 35, where a pick-up truck collided with a farm tractor towing a trailer.

Of the three occupants of the pick-up truck, a 78-year-old woman from Sylvania was declared deceased at the scene, while a child passenger suffered serious injuries and the male driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the farm tractor was not injured in the accident.
