A joint force Strategic Enforcement Response Team in Manitoba made several arrests between November 21st-25th.
Manitoba RCMP, Brandon Police Service and Manitoba First Nation Police Service were deployed to the Central Plains region with the goal to reduce violent crime in the area.
Search warrants for firearms, weapons, illegal drugs and stolen property were executed in Portage la Prairie, the Sandy Bay First Nation and the Dakota Tipi First Nation.
Officers seized 13 firearms, 22 other weapons including machetes, knives and brass knuckles, more than 2 ounces of methamphetamines, stolen property and 13 arrest warrants were also executed.
