A Fort Qu’Appelle-area man charged in connection with a July 2021 homicide in Regina, was back in Regina Provincial Court yesterday. On July 15, 2021, police in the capital were dispatched to a report of an injured man. 33-year-old Jason Bird was taken to hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. 27-year-old Terrance Desnomie faced four charges, including First Degree Murder, but instead of yesterday’s scheduled preliminary hearing, all charges against him were stayed by the Crown.
