Two people charged in connection with a stolen vehicle case in Regina, have appeared in court. Early yesterday morning, on the 800-block of Elliot Street, police spotted a vehicle matching the description of one that was reported stolen. When they approached the vehicle, two suspects tried to flee, but were quickly caught, and police allege one suspect was in possession of a sawed-off shotgun and ammunition. 20-year-old James Cyr, of the Punnichy District, and 18-year-old Dakota Button, of Regina, face multiple charges, and Button remains in custody to appear in Regina again next Monday, while Cyr was released, to return to court on December 28th.
