A Opaskwayak Cree Nation man charged in connection with an alleged assault, has made another court appearance. On March 30th, RCMP received a report of a 40-year-old OCN man who had been shot in The Pas, suffering serious, but non life-threatening injuries. An arrest warrant was subsequently issued for 30-year-old Shane Knutson, of OCN, and Mounties confirmed that he had been taken into custody on April 4th. Knutson appeared in The Pas Court last Friday, and was remanded in custody, to appear again on January 24th.
