A Wuskwi Sipihk First Nation man accused of carrying a concealed weapon in Swan River, has appeared in court again. 44-year-old John Campeau was in Swan River yesterday (Wed), where he was remanded in custody to January 4th. In July of last year, Mounties received a report of a suspicious male, and they located him near 11th Avenue South with a large sword under his coat. A foot pursuit took place, and when making the arrest, one of the officers suffered a broken bone.
