Statistics Canada released retail trade figures from October of this year.
It shows Saskatchewan saw year-over-year growth of 9 percent, above the national average of 6.4 percent, and the second highest percentage change among other provinces.
Saskatchewan also saw month-over-month growth of 3.7 percent, for a seasonally adjusted total of $2.1-billion over the course of October this year.
