Wholesale trade in Saskatchewan grew in the month of October.

The value jumped 46.7 percent between October 2021 and October 2022, the highest increase among other provinces.

The total value of wholesale trade in October this year was over $4.5-billion.

The province also noted its October 2022 merchandise exports increased 47.5 percent compared to the same time last year.

In November, Saskatchewan’s unemployment rate fell to 4.2 percent — below the national average of 5.1 percent.
