The Pas RCMP investigating a report of a stabbing north of the community

The Pas RCMP is investigating a stabbing, after getting called at 10:40 p.m. December 22nd, to a local hospital, where a man was admitted with stab wounds.
Mounties say the victim has since been released.
RCMP’s investigation so far determined a 49-year-old Saskatchewan man was driving south on Highway 10, about 50 kilometres north of The Pas, when another vehicle came up from behind and hit his vehicle multiple times before he veered into the ditch.
As the victim was getting out of the ditch, two suspects allegedly stabbed him multiple times. No description of the suspects or their vehicle is available.
Police does not believe this attack was random. They are asking anyone who may have witnessed the attack, was driving on Highway 10 the night of December 22nd, or has information on what led to it, to contact The Pas RCMP at 204-627-6204 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.
