A decision this week by Sunwing Vacations to suspend its flights from the Saskatoon and Regina airports for a month isn’t sitting well with Saskatchewan’s premier. Scott Moe called the move irresponsible, and says his government has been in touch with the airline asking for a detailed plan of how and when passengers who travelled from Saskatchewan will get back. Moe is also calling for compensation for those affected.
