It was a big night for the Vegas Golden Knights getting a victory over the defending champs but it was also a big night for Yorkton product Kaedan Korczak.

The 21 year old in his 2nd career National Hockey League game, recorded his 1st ever NHL point when he assisted on one of Nicolas Roy’s two 2nd period goals in a 3-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche.

Korczak has spent much of the 2022/23 season with AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights’ recording 8 points in 30 games.
