Two Calgary Residents Faces Several Charges After Traffic Stop In Moosomin

Charges have been laid against two Calgary residents, following the recent seizure of tobacco, drugs and cash, during a traffic stop at Moosomin.

37-year-old Kattie Hagan and 45-year-old Elroy Brooks will make their first court appearance in Moosomin on February 21st.

On December 22nd, an RCMP officer stopped a westbound vehicle on the Trans-Canada Highway, at Moosomin.

During the traffic stop, the officer held the occupants at the scene, after determining that may have been in possession of a controlled substance, and after noticing unstamped tobacco in the vehicle, a subsequent search of the vehicle also led to the seizure of one ounce of cocaine and a large bundle of Canadian currency.
