Sentenced Adjourned For Man Charged With A Pair Of Incidents Near Carlyle

The last of four men convicted in connection with a pair of incidents on neighbouring First Nations, that Carlyle Mounties say are linked, was back in court yesterday.

In September, Justin Desjarlais pled guilty to Aggravated Assault, and he was to have been sentenced yesterday, but the matter was adjourned to February 1st, in Carlyle.

On July 28th of last year, police were called to investigate an alleged assault outside a business on the Pheasant Rump Nakota First Nation, that left a man seriously injured, and about an hour later, Mounties were notified that someone had discharged a firearm at a vehicle on the White Bear First Nation.
