Millionaires’ Suppin; Labillois earn SJHL Weekly Award Honors

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League announced their weekly award winners, and it includes a couple of Melville Millionaires.

20 year old F and Kelowna, BC native Issac Suppin was named the MVP of the Week, while 18 year old netminder Clement Labillois was named as the weeks Top Rookie.

Suppin played a big part in the Mils getting 4 big points in the standings as he found the back of the net 3 times and added 3 helpers this weekend in two wins over Yorkton, while Labillois started both games for the Mills this past weekend and was consistent, allowing just 2 goals against in both wins and made 55 saves combined in the pair of games.

The Weyburn Red Wing duo of Dazza Mitchell (Goalie of the Week) and Lucas Jeffreys (Defenceman of the Week) took the other two weekly awards.
