A Manitoba Man Has Been Sentenced On Several Charges

A 31-year-old Moose Lake man convicted in connection with an October 2021 incident in The Pas, has learned his fate. On October 23, 2021, RCMP were called to a fight and possible stabbing involving a large number of people, and Mounties arrested the suspect, who was found with what they say was cocaine, crack cocaine and a Manitoba Warriors gang patch. Police note the 26-year-old male victim had not been stabbed, and declined to provide a statement to police. In The Pas Court on Tuesday, Tyler Ballantyne received a conditional sentence of two years less-a-day, along with a ten-year weapons prohibition, and he must provide a DNA sample.
