Court date made for a suspect arrested in connection to report of shots fired at Keeseekoose First Nation

Kamsack RCMP arrested a male on a number of weapon charges last week.

On January 4th, Kamsack RCMP received a report of multiple shots fired and a male walking around the Keeseekoose First Nation with a firearm.

Officers found the male the next morning at a residence on the reserve and arrested him without incident, while also finding four firearms and ammunition in the home.

22-year-old Dylan Kakakaway of the Keeseekoose First Nation faces four charges, and he is scheduled to appear in Kamsack Provincial Court on January 24th.
