New court date set for Regina man facing theft and firearm charges

A new court date has been set for one of two men, facing theft and firearm charges.

On December 12th, Regina City Police spotted a stolen vehicle, and two suspects fled on foot, but they were both eventually arrested.

18-year-old Dakota Button of Regina was back in court there Friday (Jan. 13), and he remains in custody, to appear again on Wednesday (Jan. 18).

The next appearance for his co-accused, 20-year-old James Cyr of the Punnichy District, will be on January 24th in Regina.
