An update regarding a homicide on the Skownan First nation over the weekend.

On Saturday, Winnipegosis RCMP responded to an assault at a home on the reserve, where they located a deceased 68-year-old man.

Yesterday (Tue), Manitoba RCMP arrested 46-year-old Melvin Catcheway and he was charged with Manslaughter.

Catcheway was remanded in custody and due in Swan River Court today (Wed).
