Trial scheduled for accused in October 2022 robbery on Kawacatoose First Nation

A Kawacatoose First Nation man charged after a robbery on the reserve, has appeared in court again.

Last October, Punnichy RCMP responded to the scene on the Kandahar Grid, where the victim was threatened by a male with a knife, before having his truck stolen.

About an hour later, Southey RCMP arrested the suspect, where he initially provided a false name.

30-year-old Dakota Asapace appeared in Punnichy Court yesterday (TUES), where he had his matters adjourned for trial on April 18th.
